Paid research study opportunity

You are invited to participate in a research study on Work-Home Experiences and Health Behaviors conducted by researchers in NIU’s Occupational Health and Stress Laboratory, directed by Dr. Larissa Barber. The purpose of the study is to understand how work experiences and interactions with family members at home are associated with different health habits and behaviors.

To qualify, you must be currently employed, and working five days a week. Participants must also be willing to fill out short daily surveys each evening, and able to ask a family member who they currently live with to do the same.

Your total time commitment will be two hours spread across the course of two weeks and you will be paid up to $50. Half of this time will be spent in two, one-on-one meetings at the Psychology and Computer Science building at NIU. Your family member’s time commitment will be 30 minutes over the course of two weeks and will be paid up to $25.

To learn about additional qualifications and participation details, please access the Health & Work-Home Experiences - Initial Survey.
