673 Bioethics Law (3)

A study of law-related bioethical and regulatory issues raised by the nation’s health care system. Bioethical topics include procreation, the right to die, principles of personhood and autonomy, homicide and euthanasia and tort liability for the failure to terminate life-support systems.

Antitrust and regulatory matters include a consideration of health care cost control, health care delivery, peer review and physician contracting and interdisciplinary solutions to health care problems.
