Karl J. Pettitt joined the Law Library in 2013. His main responsibilities involve overseeing the cataloging of law materials as well as assisting the associate director for Systems and Technical Services with various duties and projects. He received his M.L.I.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. Since becoming a librarian he has been actively involved in a number of professional organizations including CARLI (the statewide consortium of academic libraries) and the American Library Association. He is a member of the American Library Association, the American Association of Law Libraries and the Chicago Association of Law Libraries.
