Holt's contributions to educational research are in the areas of growth modeling of educational data, persistence of women and minorities into STEM fields, adult literacy reading practices, reading comprehension in college students, growth of early reading fluency, multivariate methods, and other areas. Holt formerly served as the Methodology Strand Chair for CISLL.


Susan R. Goldman
Professor of Psychology and Educational Psychology

Goldman’s current research activities focus on the psychological processes involved in how people understand and learn from text, discourse, multimedia, and conversation as well as new assessment models that can inform decision-making during learning and instruction processes.


Pamela Hadley
Associate Professor of Speech and Hearing Science
University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign

Hadley's research focuses upon early grammatical development in children developing typically and those at-risk for specific language impairment.


Matthew Rispoli
Visiting Assistant Professor of Speech and Hearing Science
University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign

Rispoli is a developmental psycholinguist specializing in early grammatical development and the early development of sentence production.
