No. All students are eligible to attend a JobsPLUS event and may register online. If you do not have a job or your employer is not part of JobsPLUS, you can still attend on your own time just like other events at NIU.
No. NIU provides the program at no cost to an employer. We do ask that you allow your employees who are NIU students to attend on their paid work time. We have a check-in process at each JobsPLUS event. We will report back to you which of your employees attend a JobsPLUS event if they received permission to attend on paid work time.
This decision is entirely up to you. You can give your employees permission to attend a specific number of events or choose which events they can attend on paid work time. Alternatively, you can give them the choice based on their interests.
Our goal is to schedule JobsPLUS events within a close proximity to you so that we can maximize the convenience for you and your employees who are NIU students.
