COVID-19 FAQ for Employee Searches and Interviews

The health and well-being of our university community is our priority during the COVID-19 pandemic and as such, necessitates that all face-to-face recruitment processes must be postponed, rescheduled or canceled until further notice. We feel that this will help to reduce the spread of the virus.

This includes all meetings with the search committee and hiring officials, interviews with potential candidates, and open forums/sessions and job talks. These are the primary interview processes, but essentially, don't meet face-to-face with candidates under any circumstances until further notice.

Employee searches and interviews can still be conducted virtually or through telephone conferencing, however. Below are some frequently asked questions to guide our university partners as they meet their recruitment and selection goals virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
