New Residence Hall

Located just east of Grant Towers, New Residence Hall features cluster living with enhanced privacy. Students live small group clusters of 12, and each share a semiprivate restroom with one other student. A common space for each group of 12 residents includes a study area, living room area and kitchen-like area.

New Residence Hall's large community center also features an "All You Care to Eat" food court, a recreation facility and a study lounge.

Safety

The safety and security of every resident is important to us. New Hall residents use their OneCard to enter the building 24/7. Residents must also use their OneCard to get onto their floor, and their card and a PIN access their room. Guest registration is enforced 24/7. Hall staff and NIU police are always available.
