Community Engagement House is for students who are passionate about serving others and want to develop leadership skills. Learn to take on issues that matter, volunteer with community partners and make positive change. All students, regardless of major, are invited to participate in this community as we examine the ways in which community service, civic engagement and social justice can address issues.
This residence hall living option, located in Grant D Tower, is open to any student but will be especially of interest to students in the Nonprofit and NGO Studies program. If you want to help others and meet others who share the same passion for community service, then this is the house for you.
You will work with community organizations and have the opportunity to suggest your own service projects. We will host programs and discussions about the issues that are important to you and how you can get involved in your new community to address them. There will be a number of special activities and programs designed to support students who want to take an active part in our campus and community.
