The Master of Science in Education in Counseling provides preparation in the theory, techniques, and information needed by the professional counselor. The academic requirements as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education and the National Board for Certified Counselors are fully met by graduates of this program. This program is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP).
