Integrated Course Design to Improve Student Learning

Some courses have a profound impact on students’ learning. These courses are well-designed, address course-related challenges, and integrate course components to effectively meet course goals and objectives. Can all courses be designed this way? Are there general principles that can help us design courses for effective student learning? Dee Fink's Integrated Course Design model addresses this question.
