Dan Mueller

Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba - Associate

Dan Mueller is a freelance musician in the Chicago area, and has been teaching music lessons since 2008. Born in the Chicago suburbs, Mr. Mueller graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Music in euphonium performance, and went on to earn a Master of Music in trombone performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As an active musician, he has performed on trombone and euphonium in many musical groups ranging from orchestras to brass quintets. Mr. Mueller was also a member of the Flatirons Brass Quintet at the University of Colorado, which toured to Beijing, China, and placed in the semi-finals of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, held at University of Notre Dame.

As a teacher, Mr. Mueller has taught students of all ages from beginners through the collegiate level. Through quickly identifying strengths and weaknesses, and catering to ambitions and desires, his students experience a fun and inspirational learning environment.
