NIU high school clinics are educational, non-competitive events and give directors and students the chance to showcase their ensembles and share ideas with other musicians, directors and NIU faculty. Each school has an opportunity to perform on NIU's concert hall stage and is critiqued by NIU Faculty, and for certain events, a guest clinician. Directors receive a recording of their ensemble's performance. All events are scheduled in the NIU Music Building.
Early registration is recommended, as these events fill fast. Note: Only one ensemble allowed per school, unless space allows. A registration fee is charged for each ensemble.
