Performathon is a fundraising event that raises money for Community School of the Arts scholarships. These scholarships enable families to give their children the benefits of an arts education. Since 1993, Performathon has made it possible for us to give scholarships to more than 1,000 deserving students.
Performathon is a day of fun for the whole family. It includes music performances, an art exhibit, a raffle, a music swap, a bake sale and more.
The next Performathon will be held in April 2020 on the NIU campus in DeKalb. Activities will take place in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall and the Concert Hall lobby in the Music Building.
There are many ways for students and supporters to participate in Performathon. If you'd like to get involved, or if you have any questions, contact Kristin Sherman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you're a music student, you can perform at the event and get sponsorships from friends and family.
If you're an art student, you can display your art at the event and get sponsorships from friends and family.
