2021-22 Tryouts

Try out for our 2021-22 teams! We compete in Valorant, Rocket League, League of Legends and Overwatch in the Esports Collegiate Conference. Fill out our form to request a time to try out this summer or early fall when school is in session.

Our coaches are ready for conference play this year! Stephen Kostantini, Matt Zebrowski and Alex Kramer will all be coaching under the direction of NIU Esports General Manager, Conner Vagle. Esports Collegiate Conference

NIU is proud to be a founding member of the Esports Collegiate Conference (ESC), an independent esports conference comprised of 14 universities and growing. 

Practice and Play at the NIU Esports Arena

Our varsity teams practice and compete in the NIU Esports Arena located on our DeKalb Campus in the Neptune North Residence Hall. Our program consists of regularly scheduled evening and weekend practices with an esports coach. Games are shoutcasted and broadcast on the NIU Esports Twitch channel
