NIU Esports Arena

Arena Changes for Fall 2020

Due to Covid-19, this fall the Esports Arena in Neptune North will be accessible only for Esports Collegiate team practice and tournament play. Only students on the varsity Rocket League, League of Legends and Overwatch teams will have OneCard access to the arena throughout the week.

On Sundays from 1 to 8 p.m., only students in the Esports Special Interest Community (SIC) may drop in for casual play. No guests are allowed and all safety and health protocol must be followed. More information will be provided to the Esports SIC students.

Esports Club members can attend meetings online via our Discord Server. Look for more information about the Esports Club in September.

Play Pick-up Games Online

We invite you to play for free with and against others throughout the NIU Community in Esports Online Pick-Up games. Join us on NIU Esports Discord and pass the time with friendly competition! Each day for the coming weeks, we'll run two sessions: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. There's no pressure to attend any or all sessions, just join when you are able and willing.

Monday: Card Games (Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Magic: the Gathering)
Tuesday: League of Legends
Wednesday: Overwatch
Thursday: Rocket League
Friday: Fortnite and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Saturday and Sunday: Free-play sessions both days. Feel free to find a partner in any game and build the community in whatever you want to play.
