Urban Poverty

March 11-17, 2018

Kingdom House Urban Forum; St. Louis, MO

Join your fellow huskies during a spring break where you can truly make a difference! Through this alternative break opportunity, students will have the opportunity to learn about and serve those living at the poverty-level through hands-on experiences and educational opportunities provided by our non-profit partner. Our non-profit partner is focused on helping its clients find pathways out of poverty, which means students will be assisting in the provision of enrichment services to toddlers, children, teens, adult and seniors through a variety of programs including a food pantry, child care center, after school programs and job prep and life skills coaching opportunities.

Trip Cost: $180
