Lynda.com is Upgrading to LinkedIn Learning
NIU is upgrading Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn Learning is a free-to-you online learning platform with thousands of videos with topics ranging from Microsoft Office skills to soft skills like public speaking. Here's more information on the transition:

Will there be a time period when I can’t login to Lynda.com? Yes, there will be a 24-hour service outage on Monday, Sept. 16.
Do I need to do anything to get this upgrade? No, you do not need to do anything to prepare for the upgrade.
Is the content the same on LinkedIn Learning as on Lynda.com? Yes, all of the content available on Lynda.com will be available on LinkedIn Learning.
Can I bring my history from Lynda.com? Yes. All of your history, in progress and bookmarks will be in your new LinkedIn Learning account.
Will I end up with two accounts? No, you will have only one NIU account.
Can I login now to LinkedIn Learning? No, not until the upgrade is complete. You can continue to login to Lynda.com through Sunday, Sept. 15, using go.niu.edu/Lynda.
