STEAM Studios Make Learning Fun and Accessible STEAM Studio after-school sessions help students in grades three through 12 explore and develop their interests and passions. Students can delve into coding, art, weather forecasting, simple machines, sci-fi or digital media. They’ll hone their minds, explore careers, gain confidence in social and academic realms, and build friendships with peers who share the same interests. There’s no request for grades and no entrance exam. We ask only that students come open to the prospect of learning more and enjoying their experience. STEAM Studio sessions are designed for at-home, after-school learning, but we can also bring STEAM Studio to online classrooms. Register at the STEAM Studio website or email us at niusteam@niu.edu to learn more.
Fall sessions begin Nov. 2. One- and two-hour after-school sessions take place two days a week for six weeks |
