Betsy Hull

As a Certified Public Accountant, Betsy Hull brings over 25 years of accounting and finance experience to the Division of Information Technology in both the public and nonprofit sectors. Eight years with the NIU Foundation and five years with the NIU College of Education provided Betsy with a well-rounded background in NIU's financial operations. Betsy also works as the Finance Lead for the Illinois Fiber Resources Group (iFiber) housed in the Broadband team of DoIT. Since joining DoIT in August 2018, she continues to lead the iFiber finance team as well as the Finance, Administration and Budget team.

Betsy is a proud Huskie - she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Accountancy and her Masters in Public Administration, both from NIU.

In addition to her role in DoIT, Betsy is also the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Innovative Practice for NIU. Serving in dual roles provides Betsy the opportunity to work on both IT and University initiatives that align with NIU’s Goals.
