NOTE: Any graduate-level special topics course or independent or directed study course may be counted toward the certificate when substantial treatment of law and women’s studies is included in the course, and with the approval of the director of the Center for the Study of Women, Gender and Sexuality. If you register for a course that is not listed below, but which offers significant coverage of law, women's and gender studies, call 815-753-1038 or email wgs@niu.edu for approval to count the course toward your certificate.
