Scholarships

We understand that the cost of quality education can be a burden for many students and their families. At NIU and the college of liberal arts and sciences, we do everything we can to keep higher education affordable for everyone.

Many students have a portion of their costs paid for by scholarships. For more scholarship opportunities, please consult the NIU Scholarship office. You may also wish to consider visiting a scholarship database such as FastWeb, which can help you find scholarship opportunities you or your student may qualify for.

There are thousands of scholarships out there. No matter your background or field of study, there's something out there for you.
