Project Lead the Way

We are pleased to be a collaborative partner of the University of Illinois Project Lead the Way (PLTW) affiliate, which coordinates Illinois statewide PLTW efforts in cooperation with the Illinois State Board of Education. PLTW is the leading provider of rigorous and innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) education curricular programs used in middle and high schools across the United States.

We now award college credit hours for all PLTW students who successfully complete various PLTW courses in the pre-engineering high school curriculum with at least a grade of "B" in each course. Students will be awarded up to a maximum of seven credit hours towards their degree completion in one of the engineering or engineering technology programs offered by CEET.

PLTW students will be awarded one credit hour for the course titled UEET 101: Introduction to Engineering.
