Project Lead the Way
PLTW is the leading provider of rigorous and innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) education curricular programs used in middle and high schools across the United States. CEET awards college credit hours for all PLTW students who successfully complete various PLTW courses.

NIU's STEM Outreach delivers off-campus programs and on-campus activities designed to increase science, technology, engineering, and mathematics literacy and enthusiasm among P-12 students, their families, and educators. Our office provides a central place to find information on the numerous outreach programs offered by NIU's STEM departments and the colleges.
Enhancing Engineering Pathways
Northern Illinois University - Enhancing Engineering Pathways (NIU-EEP) is a program funded by the Motorola Foundation to establish a sustainable pathway for middle and high school girls to pursue an education and career in engineering. The program is supported by the Girl Scouts Organization.
