Internet Accessible Remote Laboratory

Laboratory experiments are a major component of STEM disciplines. This allows the students to verify and solidify their newly learned principles and techniques. Considering various factors, letting the student use available laboratory facilities for an extended period of time has always been a difficult issue. It appears that most of the laboratory equipment remains idle most of their working life. The internet accessible remote laboratories will allow students and researchers to perform experiments over the internet from remote locations, while the equipment is housed within a laboratory.

Professor Azad has been working on e-learning since 1996. For over a decade he has been actively involved with the design and development of internet accessible remote laboratories and simulation environments as well as their use in academic and research applications.
