Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all campus visitors, employees and students are required to follow the protocols and guidelines articulated in the Protecting the Pack plan and set forth by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Registered visitors are limited to only two guests.
All individuals, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask inside all university facilities but may remove their masks while physically distancing during the outside portions of the campus tour.
Face masks must cover nose and mouth and be secured under chin. Bandanas and neck gaiters—made of thin, stretch tubes of fabric down the neck—aren’t effective for preventing the spread of COVID-19 and are not acceptable face coverings while on campus.
Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer (60% alcohol) after contact with high touch areas.
Visitors who have been in recent contact with an individual with COVID-19, currently in quarantine or isolation due to COVID-19, is positive with COVID-19, showing COVID-19 symptoms, or feeling sick/ill, are not permitted to visit campus.
Visitors who are unable to fulfill the above requirements are asked to register for one of our many virtual campus visit opportunities.
Huskies appreciate and respect all members of our community, and are encouraged to continue to demonstrate civility and support of each other during this stressful and dynamic time.
Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 815-753-0446 or email@example.com with questions related to on-campus visits.
Please note, due to possible new restrictions by the CDC, DeKalb Health Department, and NIU, your campus visit may be cancelled in short notice. We will do everything possible to inform you of any changes in a timely manner and will assist in rescheduling your visit.
