Electrical Engineering

We all depend on electricity to manage our daily lives, so it comes as no surprise that electrical engineer remains one of the most in-demand jobs in the engineering field. Your entry point into this vital industry starts with classes that equip you with the fundamental tools to understand the mathematics and science behind systems and devices we use every day.

Our experienced professors will prepare you for the future as they lead you through the basics of how to design, develop and operate technology that generates and uses electricity. You will learn in state-of-the-art facilities that include robotic, microelectronics design and sensor labs.

There are two Bachelor of Science (B.S.) programs – electrical and computer engineering and biomedical engineering, which allows you to choose the pre-professional track in pre-medical, dentistry, optometry or pharmacy. Your classes will also prepare you for advanced degree courses to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in electrical engineering.
