What Are Personal Response Systems? (also known as “Clickers”)

>Clickers are remote radio frequency (wireless) devices that provide the capability for students to interact with their instructors in a variety of ways.

Instructors can easily perform assessments, get immediate student feedback as to whether concepts are being understood, give quizzes and take attendance.

The student benefits from being able to anomalously interact with the Instructor without taking the risk of raising their hand and potentially embarrassing themselves.  All students will feel more comfortable answering questions via the clicker and will remain more involved in the lecture. Clickers provide a safe mechanism for the student and instructor to remain engaged, especially in large lecture hall classes.

Students must register their CPS clickers using Blackboard.  See instructions here: [link to be added]

If you have problems with your CPS clicker remote pad, call einstruction  technical support at 888-333-4988 or go to their website at www.einstruction.com
