This is a fantastic resource for students of antiquity. Its treasures range from a massive collection of Greek coins, pottery, and architecture to an extensive selection of texts which can be displayed in the original Greek, transliteration, or English translation. The texts include the works most ancient Greek philosophers, as well as much of Greek literature. They may be searched by key words or locations in the standard paginations. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Liddell-Scott-Jones Greek Lexicon
As in the paper edition, you can find definitions and examples of usage of any ancient Greek term. However, this on-line version of the standard Greek lexicon will also search for all occurences of a word in any ancient author, including all the presocratic philosophers. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
