Monday, April 6, Doors open 6 p.m., Event begins 6:30 p.m.--"A Community United" Survivor Speak Out 
First Congregational Church (basement), 615 N. First St., DeKalb, IL  

Hear speakers and survivors who will speak out about their experiences.  There will also be a display of artwork by community members, and t-shirts from the Clothesline Project.

This weekend, there will be three performances of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues, a play which aims to raise awareness of issues related to sexual violence.  Safe Passage will be at each performance providing information on the services they provide related to domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as collecting monetary and paper product donations (i.e. paper towels, toilet paper, printer paper, etc.).  For more information about this event, contact the Women's Rights Alliance or call 753-1038.
