The Women's Resource Center is your "home away from home". We welcome all students to visit the center and experience the support of staff and the comfort of various areas at the center.
The Women's Resource Center and the LGBT Resource Center has merged!
As of January 2, 2014 the LGBT Resource Center was successfully moved in with the Women's Resource Center. Throughout the spring semester, the department will operate under the working name of “LGBT and Women’s Resource Center.” The goal is to develop a combined mission and vision that reflect the histories of both centers and to identify new opportunities to collaborate on programs and services that reflect a campus culture inclusive of all genders and sexual orientations. - All are encouraged and welcomed to visit the space! Commitment to our NIU Community:
As many students come from various backgrounds, the Women's Resource Center is committed to making the university campus a welcome ground for all who are pursuing a higher education.
The Women's Resource Center provides resources for all students on campus and in the surrounding community. Whether your concern or need is raising awareness of how gender affects everyone's lives, getting students the resources they need to be successful, or providing a space that is comfortable and supporting; the Women's Resource Center is committed to all NIU students!
