Welcome to the Women's Resource Center!

Welcome to the Women's Resource Center at Northern! We are the central space on campus for women and men students, faculty, staff, and community members who are passionate about issues of gender equality.

The staff at the WRC is dedicated to improving the campus climate for women, and we need your help to make it happen! If you're interested in volunteering or just want to learn more, please stop in and say hi. We LOVE making new friends and groupies! Don't miss out on all of the great stuff happening at the WRC - join us on Facebook and MySpace or sign up for our listserv!

Stop by and check out our lending library, our lounge complete with big-screen TV and satellite service, or get some serious studying done in our computer lab. Or, join us throughout the semester for social justice events on topics ranging from hip hop to healthy relationships to feminism. You don't have to be a woman, or even a feminist, to visit - but you might just leave with a whole new perspective on gender!

We look forward to meeting you!

Need a space for your next meeting?

Here at the WRC, we have three rooms open for reservation! Fill out the registration form electronically - you can choose from the conference room, the library, and the lounge!
