Welcome to the Women's Resource Center!

Welcome to the Women's Resource Center at Northern! We are the central space on campus for women and men students, faculty, staff, and community members who are passionate about issues of gender equality.

The staff at the WRC is dedicated to improving the campus climate for women, and we need your help to make it happen! If you're interested in volunteering or just want to learn more, please stop in and say hi. We LOVE making new friends and groupies! Don't miss out on all of the great stuff happening at the WRC - check out our blog, join us on Facebook, and sign up for our listserv!

Stop by and check out our lending library, our lounge (complete with big-screen TV and satellite service), or get some serious studying done in our computer lab. Or, join us throughout the semester for social justice events on topics ranging topics ranging from tattoos to bike maintenance to plastic surgery and everything in between! You don't have to be a woman, or even a feminist, to visit - but you might just leave with a whole new perspective on gender!

We look forward to meeting you!

The WRC Turns 30!

 Celebrate Our 30th!

Check out the WRC blog for a regular update from staff on happenings at the Center as well as rants and raves on current issues!

Wondering what fun, feminist program the WRC is going to offer next?  Take a look at our events from spring semester, and check back soon for fall programs!
