Health Services

  • Health Services provides a wide range of services including medical, psychiatric, laboratory, men’s and women’s health and more. Most services are free to fee-paying students

 


Academic Support Services

  • The Academic Advising Center works with students who are undecided about their major, seeking alternative major, or reassessing their current academic situation
  • Faculty and staff advisers are available in each college and department to provide accurate information on academic programs, policies, procedures, and deadlines
  • The Supplemental Instruction Program is a peer tutoring program designed to enhance student performance and achievement in historically difficult classes
  • ACCESS (tutoring services) provides free, individualized tutoring in most 100 and 200 level general education courses
  • Office of Student Academic Success helps foster interaction among students, faculty and staff and provides academic support to help students attain their academic goals while at NIU
