• Several departments at NIU own "meeting host" licenses for Adobe Connect. Meeting hosts can set up and run a meeting anytime and participants can attend from anywhere.
• Participants  in an Adobe Connect meeting do not need an NIU login. They can attend at no cost.

Wimba

• Use of Wimba is free and is coordinated by the Faculty Development & Instructional Design Center
• Those interested in using Wimba Classroom need only to complete the short online request form to request the Wimba Classroom tool to be activated in Blackboard for either their course(s) and/or community.
• Individuals are also encouraged to take advantage of the freely available online workshops, quick guides, and video tutorials.
