Your USOAR proposal has been accepted. Now what? Below, you will find a list of helpful resources that you can refer to as you work toward completing your research or artistry project:
Institutional Review Board
If your research involves the collection of data from human subjects, then NIU's Institutional Review Board (IRB) will need to approve the activity. Information about IRB procedures can be found here.
Study Abroad
If you are planning to travel abroad with your USOAR Award, contact the Study Abroad Office at 815-753-0700 or niuabroad@niu.edu.
Almost done with your USOAR project?
In order to complete your USOAR project, you will need to submit a copy of your final report and expense report to the Office of Student Engagement & Experiential Learning. To see an example of a final report and to obtain a copy of the expense report, click on the links below:
