Undergraduate students are imperative to the productivity and performance of the TMHR Lab. Students at NIU can get involved in the lab in a number of important ways that can prepare them for graduate school or careers in research. Students are introduced to and involved in many steps of the research process. This includes research activities such as development of research questions, application to the IRB, data collection, and even writing/presenting research findings at major conferences.
Students can get involved in the lab as a volunteer, or may even receive course credit (Psyc 485). Undergraduate students who are considering graduate school are encouraged to get involved, especially in their sophomore and junior years.
