Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies

The theatre studies major features a broad-based curriculum designed to help the student to achieve excellence in: directing, performance, puppetry, and/or playwriting. This program emphasizes both scholarship and artistry. It demands the very best from the student in classroom and production. The purpose of the theatre studies emphasis is to train theatre artists to pursue one or more of the following: careers in professional theatre, careers in academic theatre, careers in the training of theatre artists, careers in related fields, and/or advanced study in theatre.

When you graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Studies you will have a solid foundation for your life's work as an artist of the theatre.

The B.A. in Theatre Arts is an open admission program.
