Tanera recently appeared as Witch #2 in the greasy joan & co./Division 13 co-production of Ionesco's Macbett. Other acting credits include Fair Ladies at a Gamer of Poem Cards at the Court Theater, Olwen in Dangerous Corner, and Sostrada in The Mandrake - both with greasy joan & co., the Main in Redmoon Theater's Long Live the King, WBEZ's Stories On Stage, and various projects with Defiant, Local Infinities, Prop, Eclipse, and Organic Touchstone theaters.
She taught Voice for the Actor for 3 years at UIC, and now teaches the same at NIU in DeKalb, and she is also an arts integration specialist in numerous Chicago Public Schools with CAPE and LEAP. Dialect and vocal coaching credits include work with Thirteenth Tribe/Division 13, NIU, Red Hen, Mary Arrchie, and UIC's theater program.
