Mr. Magaw returned to Chicago after teaching at Vanderbilt University for five years. He designed scenery and lighting for Buffalo Theatre Ensemble’s production of Warrior and scenery for the Piven Theatre Workshop’s Orlando. In addition, he produced the graphic artwork for Organic Theatre Company’s productions of Moonlight and Coming of the Hurricane.

Other design credits include scenery for The Kentucky Cycle at Illinois Repertory Theatre, scenery and lighting for Candide, The Secret Garden, Macbeth and Twelfth Night at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and designs in various areas for Buried Child, Our Country’s Good, The Glass Menagerie, Three Sisters and others at Vanderbilt University.

Upcoming projects include designing costumes for The Sovereign State of Boogedy Boogedy at Victory Gardens Theatre, scenery for The Lynching of Leo Frank at Pegasus Players and lighting for Belfry at Organic Theatre Company.
