Jeffrey Baumgartner was founder and artistic director of the Actors Center of DuPage and the DuPage Shakespeare Festival. His directing credits include Arms and the Man, The Glass Menagerie and the festival productions of The Taming of the Shrew, Henry IV, Part One and MacBeth.
As an actor in Chicago, he has appeared at Briar Street Theatre, National Jewish Theatre, Bailiwick Repertory, Immediate Theatre, Chicago Dramatists Workshop, Theatre Building and was seen as the original Jake in the long-running A Girl’s Guide to Chaos at both the Royal George Theatre and Halstead Theatre Center.
A member of the Association of Theatre Movement Educators, Mr. Baumgartner has studied movement and combat with Craig Turner and David Boushey. He is a graduate of the National Theatre Conservatory.
