Chris Wendorf
Chris joined the School of Theatre and Dance in October 2015 as the Office Administrator and Assistant to the Director for the School of Theatre and Dance. She provides administrative support for faculty, staff and students, manages school budgets and acts as the liaison for the School of Theatre and Dance to the College of Visual and Performing Arts, to the university and to the public.
Chris grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Illinois in 1993. She has worked at NIU for the past 20 years in various departments, including Testing Services, Computer Operations, Educational Technology, Research and Assessment, and for the past 11 years in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Chris enjoys working with faculty, staff, and especially with students.
Chris spends her spare time enjoying her family, which includes her husband, children, and 7 grandchildren. She enjoys teaching Sunday school and playing in the chimes choir at her church. Her favorite things to do include creating beaded jewelry, cooking, and gardening.
