Lori Hartenhoff Ms. Parks’s costume designs have been seen in action at Lifeline Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Co., Thirteenth Tribe, Borealis Theatre Co., Mordine Dance Co., DanceLoop Chicago and the Moscow Art Theatre School. She has received two Chicago Joseph Jefferson Award nominations and one After Dark Award for the musical Lizard Music with Lifeline Theatre. She has worked with the Ohio University School of Dance since 1990 and is a member of the board of directors for the Frasz/Peskov Dance Co. Costuming for the Organic Theatre is her current project.

Angle Eads

Angel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies-Theatre from the University of Hawaii Hilo. She has worked as an electrician for Actors Theatre of Louisville, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Kahilu Theatre. She has also spent the past four summers working as a sound technician for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. .


Benny Gomes

Lori HartenhoffIn a 27 year career, Benny Gomes has lit over 300 productions for pan, choral, theatre, dance and industrials in Trinidad and Tobago, his native country. He has also designed in the Caribbean, Venezuela, the Czech Republic, Germany and the US. Included in his work are 9 premiers of Nobel Prize winner Derek Walcott's plays. When not designing for the theatre, Benny works with fellow Trinidad Carnival artist, Peter Minshall of the Callaloo Company on large scaled street theatre and performance art spectacles such as the annual Trinidad carnival. The Callaloo Company was awarded an Emmy for costuming the 2002 Opening Ceremony of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

Lori Hartenhoff’s professional work includes technical work at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, The Guthrie Theatre, The Children’s Theatre (of Minneapolis), American Players’ Theatre and at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, where she has supervised the costume shop for 9 years. She has designed for Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, The Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, the New American Theatre, Albuquerque Little Theatre and the Minnesota History Theatre. Her teaching credits include University of New Mexico where she managed the costume shop and taught technical classes; Oklahoma State University and in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Professional Theatre Training Program as guest instructor and guest costume designer.

Kathryn Hubbard has more than twenty five years experience in design and construction of properties for theatrical and dance productions throughout the United States. She has worked with the Black Hills Playhouse, Central Washington University, Drury Lane Dinner Theatre, Lifeline Theatre and New American Theatre. She also assists community theatre organizations throughout the Midwest. She teaches property construction and is Properties Director for the School of Theatre and Dance.

Terrence McClellan

Terrence McClellan has designed scenery and/or lighting for a diverse range of clients such as the Chicago Opera Theatre, Des Moines Metro Opera, The Beach Boys, Goodman Children’s Theatre, The National Cable Television Association, and the Transamerica Life Insurance Companies. These projects were produced in many theatrical fields including opera, commercial and academic theatre, cable television, corporate communications and entertainment. Professor McClellan has also taught at the State University of New York and the University of Iowa. His special interest is the computer visualization of theatrical space, a skill he developed and uses extensively in his professional career as a designer and illustrator/renderer. He is a member of U.S.A.A.

Tracy Nunnally

Tracy Nunnally has worked in professional theatre for over seventeen years. During the 1990's, he served concurrently as the Technical Director for Theatre Calgary, a Lecturer in Theatre Technology for Mount Royal College, the Lead Rigger for Down Stage Right Industries, a Special Consultant for Johnson Systems, Inc., and the Chairman of the Education Committee for I.A.T.S.E. Local 212, all based in Calgary , Alberta , Canada . Currently, Mr. Nunnally holds the positions of President of Hall Associates Flying Effects, President of the North American Association of Flying Effects Directors (N.A.A.F.E.D.), and maintains his active membership in the I.A.T.S.E. and the U.S.I.T.T. Mr. Nunnally specializes in all aspects of rigging, motion control, pyrotechnics, special effects, scenery construction, and CADD, and has designed and executed an extremely diverse range of systems and effects for clients all over North America. Additionally, he gives numerous workshops in his areas of specialization to a wide array of groups every year. Through his company, Mr. Nunnally provides flying effects for over sixty clients per year, including numerous productions of Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, Angles in America, Seussical, Barnum, Ragtime, and A Christmas Carol . As a Technical Director, Mr. Nunnally's numerous credits include the recent Broadway production of Medea , which also played in notable venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington , DC , the Zellerbach Theatre in Berkeley , CA , and Le Théâtre National de Chaillot, in Paris , France.

Sahin Sahinoglu

Sahin Sahinoglu received his M.F.A. in scenic design from Northern Illinois University in 1995. He is currently teaching at NIU as a faculty member and freelancing in the Chicago area. Among some of the design credits he earned since 1995 are A Christmas Carol, Egyptian Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof, Morraine Valley Community College, The Nutcracker Ballet, Egyptian Theatre and Ages of Sin, four one acts by Thornton Wilder, performed at the Bailiwick Arts Center in Chicago. He has also worked as an assistant designer for Arizona Repertory Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, Drury Lane Dinner Theatre and as a design associate for several trade shows such as Busch, Intel and Choice Hotels.

Libby Winchester is excited to be joining the NIU School of Theatre & Dance this year. She comes to DeKalb from Chicago where she was most recently a House Carpenter for Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Other Chicago credits include work as the Assistant Production Manager for Chicago Children s Theatre and as Production Management Apprentice for Steppenwolf Theatre Company. She received her BA in Theater from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
