Call for Papers - Roundtable Discussion Proposal

Roundtables composed of three or four speakers discussing a question or issue will be scheduled into two hour time slots. Ideally roundtable organizers would allow time for and encourage interaction with the audience of scholars.

• Title of the Roundtable
• Conference theme(s) related to the Roundtable
• Abstract (250 words or less) summarizing the questions and issues to be discussed
• Name, institution, address, email of moderator/organizer and all roundtable speakers

Procedures and Timelines

1. Please submit proposals in English before November 30, 2004.
2. To submit proposals electronically, send preferably a Microsoft Word file (document) in an email as an attachment to thaiconf@niu.edu.
3. To submit proposals by mail, send preferably a Microsoft Word file (document) on a diskette along with a printed copy to

4. The Program Committee will review proposals and send an acceptance letter with scheduling information and with instructions for submitting final abstract statements and full versions of papers.
5. Abstracts of panels, roundtables and individual papers and full versions of conference papers will be collected for distribution at the conference. These final versions of abstracts and papers must be submitted by March 1, 2005 to assure distribution at the conference.
