B.S. in Technology
Aviation Management Technology Emphasis
(Offered at NIU-Rockford, NIU-Naperville, and NIU-Hoffman Estates)
The NIU Department of Technology Aviation Management emphasis has been developed to allow students who possess FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificates obtained from 2-year schools to complete a 4-year B.S. (Technology) Degree.
Admission to the Aviation Management Technology emphasis is limited to students who possess an AAS degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from a community college. Entry into this program also requires that the students complete their FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificates.
Requirements for program completion:
Aviation Maintenance Certification (31 semester hours of credit)
Requires a completed AAS degree in Aviation Maintenance from a community college and a completed FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate.
