Northern Illinois University - Society of Women Engineers Collegiate Section

We are a collegiate chapter of the national organization, Society of Women Engineers (SWE). We promote and encourage women, young and old, in the STEM fields (Science. Technology, Engineering, and Math), as well as help out the community. We've run a great outreach program with the local Girl Scouts council since 2009 (NIU EEP). This program allows young women to invesigate the different STEM fields in a non-threating and fun atmosphere.
