SummerNITE's goal is to present works of distinction by new or established playwrights. We therefore seek to present premieres, American premieres or Chicago area premieres of innovative and intellectually stimulating works for the stage. At the present time SummerNITE does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. We often will contact a playwright's agent to request a script that has come to our attention, but writers are encouraged to ask their agents to send scripts to us.

SummerNITE also currently participates in the ScriptShare program operated by New Dramatists, based in New York City. Playwrights should have their agents send their scripts to:
