Mission & Goals
Mission:
Since the Parents’ Association was formed in 1997, its mission has been to help provide a communication link between the university and parents.
Goals:
- Provide timely information about university events.
- Provide parents with opportunities to attend university activities with their son/daughter.
- Provide opportunities where parents can make meaningful connections with other parents of NIU students.
- Provide assistance to help parents with questions regarding university programs and services.
- Create an avenue for shared governance between Parents' Association members and university administration.
