Student Organization Workshop Series

Each semester, SILD hosts a student organization workshop series. These programs are intended to help student organization leaders and members become more knowledgeable about organization policies, procedures, how to effectively manage student organizations, and much more. 

Each fall semester, our Student Organization 101 workshop is offered multiple times. All funded student organizations and organizations that are eligible for funding are required to have at least one member of their Executive Board attend one of these workshops! General members of organizations are also invited to attend our Student Organization 101 workshops. 

While workshops outside of Student Organization 101 are not mandatory, student organization leaders and members are encouraged to attend these workshops in order to learn effective techniques of managing and being a member of a student organization.
