NIU LEAD Summit
The NIU Lead Summit is NIU's premier leadership conference and will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Barsema Hall. This leadership conference is open to all NIU students; however, conference content is geared toward undergraduate students. Participants have opportunities to attend various workshops related to developing leadership skills, hear from keynote speakers, and network with other student leaders and staff members. The summit also features an optional Greek track specifically designed for student members of Fraternity & Sorority Life as well as a track for female student leaders.
The Summit will be the concluding event of Leadership Week. An opening keynote speaker and a closing professional panel will be featured during the Lead Summit, and session topics such as Social Media & Professionalism, Values & Leadership, Work/Life Balance, and more will be included.
Check in for the Summit will begin at 9:00 a.m. in Barsema Hall, and the first session will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Summit will conclude at 3:45 p.m. Registration opens on Monday, October 2, 2017. Registration will be available through niutickets.com beginning October 2. Click the SILD tab to begin your registration. During registration, you must pay a $9.99 refundable fee. This fee will be refunded to you after you check out at the conclusion of the Summit. If you do not stay for the entirety of the Summit, you will not receive a refund.
