The NIU LEAD Summit is NIU's premier leadership conference. This leadership conference is open to all NIU students; however, conference content is geared toward undergraduate students. Participants have opportunities to attend various workshops related to developing leadership skills, hear from keynote speakers, and network with other student leaders and staff members. The Summit also features an optional Greek track specifically designed for student members of Fraternity & Sorority Life.
This year's NIU LEAD Summit will take place on Saturday,November 14, 2015 in Barsema Hall. The Summit will be the concluding event of Leadership Week. Opening and closing keynote speakers will be featured during the LEAD Summit, and session topics such as Leadership 201, Interviewing 101, Bystander Intervention, and more will be included. Our Greek track will include topics such Ethics & Values Based Leadership, Utilizing Your Resources, and more.
Check in for the Summit will begin at 9:00am in Barsema Hall, and the first session will begin at 9:45am. The Summit will conclude at 4:30pm. To register for the Summit, visit niutickets.com. Click the SILD tab to begin your registration. During registration, you must pay a $9.99 refundable fee. This fee will be refunded to you after you check out at the conclusion of the Summit. If you do not stay for the entirety of the Summit, you will not receive a refund.
