Compostion
The Leadership Advisory Board is chaired by the Assistant Director for Leadership & Student Organization Services. Additional members include students who have completed the highest tier of the Leadership Academy, Engaging Leaders. Engaging Members are invited to join the Leadership Advisory Board as part of their continued to commitment to give back to the Leadership Academy.
Upon completion of the third tier, all students in the Leadership Academy are offered the opportunity to serve one year as part of the Leadership Advisory Board. This committee is responsible for assisting in the planning of the Leadership Academy curriculum, marketing the program, recruiting guest speakers or lecturers, facilitating brown bag lunch discussions, and finally assessing the Leadership Academy.
Leadership Advisory Board members are expected to be able to demonstrate the highest standards of student leadership and on-campus participation and have a burning desire to share their experiences with new students.
Terms of Appointment
Student members of the Leadership Advisory Board are appointed annually.
